Attach a landscape appendix to a report
Practice assembling a report and a separate appendix for submission. report.pdf has two A4 portrait pages; appendix.pdf has one Letter landscape page. The target is a three-page PDF in this order: report page 1, report page 2, appendix. Check that the appendix retains its landscape page size after merging.
1. Inspect the inputs
Download report sample (PDF) Download appendix sample (PDF)
Open both files and find REPORT PAGE 1, REPORT PAGE 2 and APPENDIX PAGE 1. Check file names and page counts too: adding the same file twice can duplicate its pages.

2. Set the file order and merge
- Select the two sample files.
- Put report.pdf above appendix.pdf in the list. Use the up and down arrows if the order differs.
- Confirm the listed counts are two pages for the report and one for the appendix, then merge.
- Download the result and keep it as a new file.
3. Compare page order and sizes
Download reference merged result (PDF)
Page 1 should read REPORT PAGE 1, page 2 REPORT PAGE 2 and page 3 APPENDIX PAGE 1. The first two pages measure 595.28 × 841.89 pt; the last measures 792 × 612 pt. These are PDF page dimensions, not file sizes or screen pixels.

If the order differs
If the appendix appears first, change the file order in the merge list and run it again. A five-page result may mean the report was added twice. If the appendix is clipped when printing, check its PDF page size separately from the printer's fit-to-paper setting.
Before using your own document
This example uses unencrypted text PDFs. We have not verified preservation of encrypted or damaged files, digital signatures, form fields, bookmarks or accessibility tags in this case. Keep the original and check those features separately when they matter. This operation does not perform OCR or edit the body text of a scanned document.
Processing can fail depending on file size and available browser memory. If you see an error, open the original in a PDF viewer to check it rather than just renaming it. Practice with these non-personal samples, then check your real output in another PDF viewer before sharing it.
The previews below are renders of the supplied sample PDFs, not screenshots of the tool. They do not establish processing speed or file preservation across all browsers.
